Sonia Sabri Company are proud to be a supporter of Arts Award, we offer a range of opportunities for young people to watch, create and interact with music & dance in a safe and inviting environment. Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification that support young people aged up to 25 in a variety of arts disciplines. As a Supporter organisation, we have activities and opportunities to help you complete your Arts Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. Some of our supporter activities maybe free, others require you to buy a performance ticket or if you wish to get involved in our classes, a membership fee.

Bronze
We can support your delivery of parts A & B through our programme of work.

Part A: Explore the arts as a participant - Young people can take part in our weekly dance or music classes. Join the company on an exploration of the joy of Indian dance and music! Please look at our classes page for further info click here http://www.ssco.org.uk/learning/learning/classes.html

Part B: Explore the arts as an audience member - Young people are welcome at any of our performances. Please look at our calendar for details of where we are touring. Important note you will need to book a ticket with the relevant theatre venue. We welcome show reviews and are very happy to publish them where possible.

Silver
We can support your delivery of Unit 1 of Silver through our activities.

Unit 1 parts A & B: Arts challenge - Young people can take part in our weekly dance or music classes that run on a term basis.

Unit 1 part C: Review arts events - Young people will be able to review any of our shows with discounted tickets for themselves.

Unit 1 part D: Arts research - Young people will be able to find out more about the arts through our creative work placements.

Gold
We can support Units 1 of the Gold Arts Award through our Creative Work Placements.

Unit 1 part B: Identify development opportunities within the wider arts sector - Young people are able to participate in development opportunities through volunteering opportunities for our various projects and creative work placements. 

Unit 1 part C: Research advance practitioners and review arts events - Young people will be able to research advance practitioners whilst working alongside them during creative work placements, this will include opportunities to interview team members. Young people will be able to review any of our shows with discounted tickets for themselves.
