It important that you read the notes below to be aware of our company policy, procedures and guidelines for the class you attend.
 
1. Weekend
Saturday and Sunday or days / dates as specified
 

2. Enrolment
It is company policy that students fill online enrolment form
 
It is the student’s responsibility to inform SSCo of any changes to contact information.

3. Payments
All Payments are to be made via Bank transfer and should be received before the beginning of each activity.
 
The student may not be allowed to attend the session if the fee is not received prior to attending the session
 
4. Refunds
No money will be refunded for non-attendance.

Full refund may be requested at least a week / 7 days before the beginning of session
 
 
5. Cancellations / Rescheduling
Sonia Sabri Company invites professional touring artists / teachers to run the sessions. Therefore, Sonia Sabri Company reserves the right to alter session dates or arrange an alternative professional tutor or cancel the sessions.
 
Any cancelled dates will be rescheduled, or Fees will be refunded

6. Lunch / Refreshments
Please bring your own lunch and any refreshments you may need
 

7. Copyrights, Examinations, Competitions, Performances 
The content of any of the choreography or composition taught is intellectual property of Sonia Sabri Company.  Any performance of this without first seeking permission from Sonia Sabri Company is a breach of our agreement.
Any student found to have breached this agreement could be found liable and may result in legal action. 
 
To protect a student’s interest, the tutor will not enter the student for any examination, competition or public performance without your consent.
 
To protect the tutor’s reputation, the student should not enter an examination, competition or perform in public, without Sonia Sabri Company’s consent. 
 
8. Attire, Class notes, Practise
With younger students, it would be particularly helpful if parents could encourage their children to practice regularly, and to ensure that they come to sessions with the appropriate attire.
 
Tabla students should wear loose clothings and must bring their instrument to the class.
 
Female dance students must wear long Kurta with Pajama / leggings and dupatta.
Male dance students must wear long Kurta with Pajama.
 
All students must bring notebooks and pen to the class
 
Whilst the tutor will make every reasonable effort to improve the students’ knowledge and ability, the student cannot expect to improve unless he/she fully co-operates with the tutor, in particular practices as they advise.
 
9. Recommendations, Support
From time to time music / practice CD’s/ DVD’s or digital files will be recommended for practice and preparation. There will be a purchase fee for this. It is expected that students will honour this. Sharing or duplicating of any material is not permitted.
 
The students are asked to join Sonia Sabri Company Facebook page to keep updated on regular events and important information: www.facebook.com/soniasabricompany.
 
We would appreciate student’s support in promoting and marketing company events including classes, performances, projects and other events by becoming ambassadors for Sonia Sabri Company.
 
We will hand out flyers or e-flyers to students and would like your assistance in distributing these across your networks.
 
We would like to increase social media activity about company events and encourage all students to get involved in this, ensuring you tag the company in any promotional posts. 
 
We have also developed a new strategy to our Facebook posting by ‘spotlighting’ a student to celebrate their achievements, please engage with these posts and support your peers. 
 
Please be aware that your support will help flourish the company’s audience for all events, without this support company events could be jeopardised and may even result in cancellation.

10 - Safety Measures
Sonia Sabri Company care about the safety of our class participants and staff. We are putting a number of additional measures in place to ensure everyone's safety and wellbeing in relation to reducing the risk of coronavirus:

• We are running this camp with limited capacity in order to keep social distancing
• We ask everyone attending session to wear masks upon arrival and moving around the building, although masks are optional when participating in the session itself
• The team will be doing regular lateral flow tests upon arrival if needed
• We request all attendees to take a lateral flow test within 24 hours of attending a session and ask anyone who is feeling unwell not to attend. Please send your negative test results to info@ssco.org.uk
• If an attendee was tested positive and completed a mandatory isolation period within a week of starting a session, please provide a list of isolation dates and a negative Lateral Flow test taken within 24 hours of starting a session.
• There will be hand sanitising stations and we will check temperatures on arrival
• We will be following our own thorough cleaning regime in addition to the thorough cleaning that the studio will also be doing
• Dance studios will be kept well ventilated
